The Lodgepole campground in Sequoia National Park offers stunning views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains and is located near popular attractions such as General Sherman Tree and Moro Rock. The campground has a variety of amenities including fire pits, picnic tables, and access to potable water and flush toilets. Reservations are required for most of the campsites, but there are a few available for first-come, first-served visitors. There are 214 campsites in total, with a mix of tent and RV sites. The best time to visit Lodgepole is from late spring to early fall, with average temperatures ranging from the 50s to 80s depending on the month.
