There are 11 first-come, first-served sites—no reservations required. A small fee is charged. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and drinking water (hand pump). No hookups; RVs up to 33 feet are allowed. The peaceful, high-alpine vibe attracts hikers and anglers, with nearby access to the Holy Cross City Trail and Homestake Reservoir. Best visited late June–September for mild temps and snow-free trails. Expect a quiet, rustic camping experience beneath towering pines and surrounded by mountain beauty.
