Summary

Reservations aren’t accepted; all sites are first-come, first-served. There’s a nightly fee, and no permits are typically required unless for boating or fishing. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and RV access (no hookups or water on-site, so bring your own). Nestled in a lodgepole pine forest at 5,200 feet, the campground provides serene lake views and direct access to fishing, kayaking, and nearby trails in the Deschutes National Forest. Best visited June–September when the weather is warm and access roads are clear.
