Winds gusting as high as 55 mph. * WHERE...West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada and Western Plumas County/Lassen Park Counties. * WHEN...Until noon PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery travel conditions, with travel delays and chain controls possible. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday and Friday commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels 5500 to 6500 feet this morning, then expected to increase Friday morning to around 7000 to 8000 feet.
