Salida Whitewater Park


Salida is home to one of the best kayak surf and rodeo parks in the country.  It is also home to the oldest whitewater festival in the United States.  See the external resources section below for the link to FIBARK.

Suggested river levels for paddling this section of the Arkansas River are between a bare minimum of 300cfs and a high of 1,500cfs. River conditions sourced from USGS 07087050, the Arkansas River Below Granite Remember only watercraft are permitted at Salida Whitewater Park.
