Narrow / tree lined, close to home, add to the end of the Narrows run for a long paddle if desired. The plop-drop rapids don't require more than Class III skills, however, due to rampant vegetation along the banks, a swim is highly not recommendend!(lack of eddies) Gradient starts around 65 fpm, mellows to about 10-20 fpm near the end. Mostly read and run, but heads up for anglers.
Suggested river levels for paddling this section of the Ogden River are between a bare minimum of 150cfs and a high of 1,500cfs.
