Interquest South Pond A, also known as Fairlane Technology Park Pond A, is a crucial water resource infrastructure owned by the Local Government in Colorado's El Paso County. This pond, designed by URS Consultants, serves the primary purpose of flood risk reduction along the Kettle Creek-TR stream, with a dam height of 12 feet and a hydraulic height of 12 feet. Completed in 1990, this Earth-type dam has a storage capacity of 74 acre-feet, with a normal storage of 60 acre-feet and a surface area of 10 acres.

Maintaining a low hazard potential and a satisfactory condition assessment, Interquest South Pond A has a controlled spillway width of 105 feet and a maximum discharge of 500 cubic feet per second. The pond's last inspection in December 2018 displayed its structural integrity and functionality, with an inspection frequency of every 3 years. Despite moderate risk assessment, this pond plays a crucial role in mitigating flood risks and ensuring water resource management in the region, making it an essential asset for water resource and climate enthusiasts to monitor and study for sustainable development initiatives in the area.
