G-K is a privately owned irrigation dam located on North Casper Creek in Natrona County, Wyoming. The dam, constructed in 1963, stands at a height of 23 feet and has a normal storage capacity of 987 acre-feet. With a surface area of 152 acres, G-K serves the primary purpose of irrigation for the surrounding area.
Despite its low hazard potential and fair condition assessment, G-K is subject to regular inspections and enforcement by the Wyoming State Engineer's Office. The dam features an uncontrolled spillway with a width of 50 feet and has not been modified in recent years. With a moderate risk assessment rating of 3, the dam is deemed to have a manageable level of risk associated with its operation.
