Granlibakken Ski Resort is a small, family-friendly ski resort located in Tahoe City, California. The resort boasts 10 ski runs suitable for all levels of skiers, with the beginner-friendly Bunny Hill being the standout trail. Granlibakken Ski Resort also offers snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing activities. An interesting fact about the resort is that it was originally used as a training ground for Norwegian ski jumpers during the 1932 Olympics. For beginners, we recommend taking a lesson with one of the resort's certified instructors. The Ski & Stay package offers great value for beginners, including lodging and ski rentals.
