About the Area
Campgaw Mountain Ski Resort in New Jersey is located in the Ramapo Mountains, a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains. The highest point in the Ramapo Mountains is Campgaw Mountain, which stands at an elevation of 1,460 feet.
