About the Area


The Skyline Ski Area is located in Minnesota, United States. The resort is situated in the Sawtooth Range, a small mountain range in northeastern Minnesota. The highest point in the Sawtooth Range is Eagle Mountain, which stands at 2,301 feet (701 meters) above sea level.

Skyline Ski Area offers a variety of ski runs and terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. The resort features a vertical drop of 300 feet (91 meters) and a variety of runs ranging from beginner to expert. The mountain aspect of the resort includes both north-facing and south-facing slopes, providing a variety of sun exposure and snow conditions throughout the ski season.

The resort offers a variety of trails for all skill levels, but the beginner slopes are particularly noteworthy. The gentle slopes and dedicated beginner's area make it the perfect place for those just starting out. An interesting fact about Skyline Ski Area is that it was the first ski resort in the Midwest to install a chairlift.
