The campground offers picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets, but no potable water. Nearby activities include hiking, wildlife watching, and exploring nearby Lake Isabella. The best time to visit is during the spring and fall when temperatures are mild, averaging around 60-70°F during the day and 40-50°F at night. It's important to note that the campground is not accessible during the winter months.
