Reservations are recommended via Recreation.gov during peak season (Mar–Oct); fees are $30/night. Amenities include vault toilets, potable water (seasonal), fire rings, and picnic tables. No RV hookups, but small-to-medium RVs are allowed (no dump station). The vibe is rustic and serene with riverfront access ideal for fishing, tubing, and relaxing. Nearby hikes include the Whiskey Flat Trail. Best visited in spring or early fall for mild temperatures and flowing river. Summer can be hot; winter access may be limited by snow.
