The Loch Leven Lakes Dispersed Camping Area in California is a stunning location with breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Situated near the Loch Leven Lakes, the area offers visitors the chance to enjoy hiking, fishing, and stunning mountain scenery. The campground amenities are minimal, with no water, restrooms, or trash services available. Visitors should bring plenty of water and pack out all trash. The campground is first-come, first-served, and has ten campsites available. The best time to visit is during the summer months when average temperatures range from 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit at night. Nearby points of interest include the Loch Leven Lakes, the Donner Pass, and the Pacific Crest Trail.
