The campground offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, valleys and rivers. Nearby points of interest include the Yosemite National Park, Bass Lake, and Sugar Pine Railroad. The campground is equipped with basic amenities such as picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets and potable water. Reservations are required and can be made up to six months in advance. The campground has 15 campsites and can accommodate up to 50 people. The best time to visit is from May to October when temperatures range from 55-80°F. It is important to note that the campground is only accessible by high clearance vehicles due to the dirt road leading to it.
