* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations exceeding three feet above 8000 feet, one to two feet above 7000 feet, and four to eight inches down to 6000 feet. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph. * WHERE...Eastern Sierra Slopes. * WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Strong winds could cause tree damage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will start out on Tuesday and Wednesday above 7000 feet and fall to around 6000 feet Thursday and Friday. Several periods of heavy precipitation are expected within the Tuesday through Friday time frame.
