Pinon is a privately owned dam located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, along the Beaver Creek. Built in 1986, this earth-type dam stands at a height of 42 feet with a total length of 800 feet. With a primary purpose of recreation, Pinon offers a storage capacity of 188 acre-feet and a surface area of 14 acres, making it a popular spot for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy various water-based activities.
