Clark Fork camping area in California offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the Clark Fork River. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing, and swimming in the river. The campground features picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. It is first-come-first-serve and has 15 campsites. The best time to visit is from May to September when temperatures range from 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit at night. Due to its remote location, it is recommended to bring all necessary supplies and equipment.
