Coyote Flat, also known as Coyote Reservoir, is a privately owned dam located in Lassen, California. Built in 1928, this earth dam stands at a height of 52 feet and serves multiple purposes including flood risk reduction, irrigation, and water supply. Situated on Coyote Creek in the city of Pittville, the dam has a storage capacity of 5250 acre-feet and covers a surface area of 293 acres.

Managed by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) under the Safety of Dams program, Coyote Flat is subject to state regulation, inspection, and enforcement to ensure its structural integrity and operational safety. With a significant hazard potential, the dam has been assessed as satisfactory in condition as of September 2017.
