Chalfa Dam, also known as Wenner Lakes Dam No. 3, is a state-owned earth dam located in Carlton, Okanogan County, Washington. Built in 1940, this dam serves multiple purposes including irrigation and recreation. With a hydraulic height of 17 feet and a structural height of 12 feet, Chalfa Dam has a normal storage capacity of 50 acre-feet and a maximum storage capacity of 80 acre-feet. The dam is situated on Tr-Benson Creek and covers a surface area of 9 acres, with a drainage area of 6.6 square miles.
Managed by the Washington Department of Ecology, Chalfa Dam is inspected every 5 years and has been deemed to have a fair condition assessment.
