Built in 1923 for irrigation purposes, this dam stands at a height of 19 feet and has a storage capacity of 78 acre-feet. Despite its low hazard potential, the dam is currently classified as having poor condition, with the last inspection in August 2017 revealing areas in need of improvement.

Managed by private owners, Warriner No. 1 is regulated by the Wyoming State Engineer's Office and undergoes regular inspections and enforcement measures. The dam features a single valve outlet gate and an uncontrolled spillway with a width of 20 feet.
