Fort Goff Campground, located in California’s Klamath National Forest, offers free, first-come, first-served dispersed camping with a few established sites.
No reservations or permits are required. Amenities are minimal: a single vault toilet, no potable water, fire rings with grills, and picnic tables. RVs can access the area, but there are no hookups. Nestled in a scenic forested canyon along Wooley Creek, the vibe is peaceful and remote—perfect for solitude seekers. Nearby Wooley Creek Trailhead offers excellent hiking and fishing. Best visited in late spring through early fall due to weather and road conditions. Prepare to be self-sufficient.
