Shinn, also known as Shinn Pond, is a local government-owned dam located in Fremont, California along the Tr Alameda Creek. Completed in 1987, this earth dam stands at a height of 45 feet and has a storage capacity of 390 acre-feet. Its primary purpose is for tailings management, with water supply being a secondary function.
