Hurt, also known as Edges Lake, is a private earth dam located in Dotsore, Colorado, along Alkali Creek-TR. Built in 1949 by designer Frank Matteson, this irrigation dam stands at a height of 40 feet and has a storage capacity of 204 acre-feet. With a surface area of 9 acres and a spillway width of 60 feet, Hurt serves multiple purposes including fire protection, stock, small fish pond, and of course, irrigation.

Maintained by the Colorado Department of Water Resources, Hurt has a low hazard potential and is in fair condition as of the last inspection in June 2019.
