Newton Gulch is a privately owned irrigation dam located in Routt County, Colorado. Constructed in 1907, this earth dam stands at a height of 38 feet and has a storage capacity of 836 acre-feet. The dam serves the primary purpose of providing water for irrigation in the area, with a normal storage capacity of 231 acre-feet.
