Wrightsville Detention Reservoir @ Wrightsville Vt
Wrightsville Detention Reservoir is located in Wrightsville, Vermont, and was constructed in 1935 as a flood control measure on the North Branch of the Winooski River. The reservoir has a storage capacity of 2.2 billion gallons, and during periods of high flow, the water is released to reduce flooding downstream. The reservoir is fed primarily by surface flow from the surrounding hills and by winter snowpack.
