Snowpack levels across the state are currently 66% of normal. The deepest snowpack in Washington was last observed at Waterhole with a snowpack depth of 131”, about 343% of normal when compared to it's 38" average depth for this time of year. Washington's mountain regions are bracing for significant snowfall, with the Cascades under a blizzard warning. The Olympics anticipate heavy snow, too, challenging travel plans. Notably, Beaver Pass expects a staggering 84-inch snow accumulation over five days, and Cayuse Pass saw a remarkable 321 inches in just 24 hours.
