Multiple Frost Advisories have been issued across Illinois from October 17-18, with temperatures dropping to the low-to-mid 30s expected to create widespread frost formation. Central, east-central, and southern Illinois regions are most affected, including areas around Livingston, Ford, Iroquois, Will, and Kankakee Counties. Frost conditions will persist from approximately 1-9 AM CDT Sunday morning. Residents throughout Illinois should protect sensitive outdoor vegetation and plants by covering them before nightfall, as frost could kill unprotected crops and gardens. This advisory affects major population centers across the state and agricultural areas dependent on fall harvests.

The water level at the gauge in feet above the reference datum. Used together with discharge to track river state. Flood stage and runnable levels are typically expressed in gauge height (e.g., "flood at 16 ft").
