A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect across northeastern Minnesota until 10:00 AM CDT this morning, affecting Carlton, South St. Louis, Southern Cook, and Southern Lake Counties. Visibility is reduced to one quarter mile or less, with the worst conditions expected near Lake Superior and in the St. Louis River valley. Motorists traveling through the Duluth area and surrounding regions should exercise extreme caution, as hazardous driving conditions are anticipated. The water level at the gauge in feet above the reference datum. Used together with discharge to track river state. Flood stage and runnable levels are typically expressed in gauge height (e.g., "flood at 16 ft").
