The Root River near Houston (Houston County) and in northern Fillmore County—affecting communities including Rushford, Lanesboro, and Peterson—is forecast to crest at 16.1 feet tomorrow morning, causing minor lowland flooding through Tuesday. The Cedar River at Austin and near Lansing (Mower County) is also experiencing minor flooding with water levels expected to recede by this evening. Additionally, dense fog is affecting northwestern Minnesota and the Bemidji area this morning, with visibilities expected to improve by 10 AM.
