Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain has already fallen overnight, causing flooding of creeks and county roads. Major areas impacted include Parkersburg, Elizabeth, Glenville, and Grantsville, with flooding affecting multiple counties in north-central and northwestern regions including Roane, Calhoun, Gilmer, Ritchie, Wirt, Jackson, Pleasants, and Wood counties. Rivers, creeks, and low-lying areas face imminent or ongoing flooding. Interstate 77 and Route 50 may experience hazardous conditions.
