Lake Davis (Dwr)

Lake Davis is a reservoir located in Plumas County, California, managed by the California Department of Water Resources. The reservoir was created in 1966 by constructing an earthen dam on Grizzly Creek, a tributary of the Feather River. The lake is primarily fed by the North Fork of the Feather River and has a storage capacity of 46,000 acre-feet. The lake provides water for irrigation, domestic use, and fish and wildlife habitat. The surrounding area is used for agriculture and recreation, including fishing, boating, and camping. The hydrology of the lake is influenced by snowpack in the surrounding mountains, which provides a significant amount of surface flow during the spring and summer months.
