**URGENT: Multiple Flood Warnings and Watches Remain Active Across Iowa** — Significant flooding is occurring and forecast to continue through late September across eastern Iowa. A Flood Warning for the Wapsipinicon River near De Witt (Clinton and Scott Counties) warns of major flooding affecting residences through Sunday. The English River at Kalona (Washington and Johnson Counties) is experiencing major flooding with road closures including Highway 130th St and multiple county roads. Additional Flood Warnings are in effect for the Iowa River at Wapello and Oakville (Louisa County), the Maquoketa River near Maquoketa (Jackson County), and the North Skunk River near Sigourney (Keokuk County). Flood Watches extend through Friday for the Mississippi River at multiple locations affecting Des Moines, Henderson, Lee, and Louisa Counties. The water level at the gauge in feet above the reference datum. Used together with discharge to track river state. Flood stage and runnable levels are typically expressed in gauge height (e.g., "flood at 16 ft").
