Coastal York County faces the greatest threat, with a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect until 3 AM EDT Monday, bringing up to 1 foot of inundation, dangerous waves of 7-12 feet, and localized beach erosion across multiple tide cycles. High Surf Advisories remain active through 8 PM today for Cumberland, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox, and Hancock Counties, with waves reaching 4-10 feet and high rip current risks posing dangers to swimmers and those near rocky shorelines. Minor flooding of parking lots, parks, and roads is expected with isolated road closures possible. Residents and visitors in coastal York County and surrounding areas should avoid beaches and rocky outcrops, exercise extreme caution near the water, and monitor conditions closely as impacts may extend through Monday's daytime high tide.

The water level at the gauge in feet above the reference datum. Used together with discharge to track river state. Flood stage and runnable levels are typically expressed in gauge height (e.g., "flood at 16 ft").
