Located in Granite, Utah, Secret Lake is a privately owned reservoir regulated by the Utah Division of Water Rights. Built in 1926 for irrigation purposes, the dam stands at a structural height of 10 feet and has a maximum storage capacity of 52 acre-feet. With a normal storage level of 47 acre-feet, the reservoir covers a drainage area of 0.5 square miles and is fed by a tributary to Little Cottonwood Creek.
Despite its age, Secret Lake remains in "Not Rated" condition according to the last inspection in September 2020. Classified as having a "Significant" hazard potential, the reservoir has an inspection frequency of every two years. While the dam has no associated spillway or outlet gates, it serves as a vital water source for irrigation in the region.
