A Flood Warning remains in effect for the Little Colorado River from Winslow to Leupp until midnight MST tonight as excessive rainfall continues to cause dangerous flooding conditions. Water levels at Winslow have crested near flood stage at 18.11 feet and are expected to recede throughout the day, but downstream impacts will persist through this evening. Communities including Leupp, Birdsprings, Sunrise, Bushman Acres, Homolovi Ruins State Park, and Clear Creek Reservoir face significant flooding risks. Deadly conditions are possible at low-water crossings, particularly near the Navajo Route 71 bridge near Birdsprings where inundation is imminent. Residents in affected areas should avoid flooded roadways and low-water crossings, monitor weather updates at weather.gov/flagstaff, and prepare for potential evacuation if conditions worsen.

The water level at the gauge in feet above the reference datum. Used together with discharge to track river state. Flood stage and runnable levels are typically expressed in gauge height (e.g., "flood at 16 ft").
