A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect for Maryland Beaches and Worcester County until 10:00 AM EDT Thursday, with one to two feet of inundation expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. A High Surf Advisory is also active, bringing dangerous breaking waves of 7-10 feet through 7:00 AM EDT Thursday. Residents should expect shallow flooding in vulnerable waterfront locations, with potential impacts to roads, parking lots, parks, and lawns near the shoreline. Beach erosion and hazardous swimming/surfing conditions are anticipated. Avoid flooded areas and exercise caution near coastal waters during this period.
