Wisconsin residents along Lake Michigan should exercise extreme caution due to active Beach Hazards Statements affecting multiple counties. Sheboygan County faces life-threatening waves of 3-5 feet through Wednesday evening, while Door, Kewaunee, and Manitowoc Counties experience dangerous currents and high waves through late tonight. Specific beaches at high risk include Rock Island State Beach, Baileys Harbor, and Whitefish Dunes Beach in Door County; Crescent Beach and City of Kewaunee Beach in Kewaunee County; and Point Beach, Neshotah Beach, and Red Arrow Beach in Manitowoc County. Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water, and high waves pose risks to those on piers. Avoid swimming and water activities in these areas until conditions improve.
