WYOMING SKI REPORT

Last Updated: November 16, 2025

Wyoming ski areas are seeing varied snowfall conditions heading into the week. The heaviest upcoming snow is forecasted for the Snowy Range and Sierra Madre regions near resorts such as Snowy Range Ski Area and Hogadon Basin, with nearby sensors like Sand Lake, Med Bow, and Old Battle all expecting up to 9" over the next five days. Cinnabar Park and Cottonwood Creek, near Albany and the southern Wind River Range, are also expecting significant snowfall (8"). South-central sensors like Indian Creek and Spring Creek Divide suggest 6–7" snow totals coming, favorable news for alpine zones near Pinedale and the Upper Green River Valley.

In contrast, western resorts like Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee (near Base Camp and Grand Targhee SNOTEL, respectively) are forecasted for only light accumulations (0–2") and have limited recent snow. Grand Targhee still holds a respectable snowpack at 17", but no new snow fell in the past 24 hours. Powder River Pass (near Meadowlark Ski Lodge) has a current snow depth of 8" and 2" forecasted. Snowfall in Yellowstone and the Absaroka Range remains minimal with most sensors like Blackwater and Kirwin reporting steady snowpacks but no expected new snow. For snow seekers, the best bets this week are the southern Wyoming highlands and eastern ranges, where consistent snowfall is expected through the weekend.
