Pennsylvania's current snow conditions show modest snowpack depths, with the highest recorded at 13 inches in Hidden Valley. No significant snowfall was observed in the last 24 hours. Over the next five days, areas like Bradford and Russell may see up to 8 inches of new snow, with other regions expecting lesser amounts.

Residents of Pennsylvania, particularly in Northern and Southern Erie Counties, as well as Bedford, Blair, Cambria, and Somerset Counties, are advised to brace for strong winds. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory with south winds of 20 to 30 mph, gusting up to 50 mph, expected through 1 AM EST Friday. Additionally, a High Wind Watch is in place with even stronger west winds possibly reaching 60 mph gusts, potentially causing tree damage and power outages. Central Pennsylvania is also under a Wind Advisory; unsecured objects and holiday decorations should be secured. Travel may be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles, through late Friday night. Please take appropriate precautions and prepare for possible power disruptions.
