Snowpack levels across the state are currently 29% of normal. The deepest snowpack in North Dakota was last observed at Site 1-3Mi.N with a snowpack depth of 4”, about 133% of normal when compared to it's 3" average depth for this time of year. Wfo-Bismarck, perched at an elevation of 1,637 ft., is currently experiencing some of the coldest temps in North Dakota with air temps last recorded at 33 degrees.

More snowfall is expected this week, and areas like Fargo 3S are forecasted to receive up to 8" of snowfall in the next 5 days.
