A High Wind Warning affects Eastern Glacier, Western Toole, and Central Pondera counties on the Northern and Southern High Plains, with westerly winds reaching 30-50 mph and gusts potentially exceeding 70 mph lasting until noon MDT. High-profile vehicles and travel are at significant risk during this period. Additionally, a Lake Wind Advisory for Fort Peck Lake remains in effect until 9 AM MDT, with northwest winds of 15-25 mph gusting to 40 mph creating hazardous conditions for small watercraft, with waves reaching 4 feet. The water level at the gauge in feet above the reference datum. Used together with discharge to track river state. Flood stage and runnable levels are typically expressed in gauge height (e.g., "flood at 16 ft").
