Multiple Dense Fog Advisories remain in effect across Montana through midday Friday, October 30th, creating hazardous driving conditions statewide. Central and south-central Montana, including areas around Billings, Great Falls, and Cascade County, face visibility reduced to one-quarter mile or less in dense freezing fog. Additional advisories impact Carter, Fallon, the Snowy and Judith Mountains, Fergus County, Judith Basin County, Gates of the Mountains, Glacier County, Pondera County, Teton County, and the High Plains regions. Motorists should exercise extreme caution as frost and ice-covered roadways compound visibility hazards. Reduce speed, increase following distance, and use headlights. Conditions are expected to improve by late morning to noon as fog dissipates.

The water level at the gauge in feet above the reference datum. Used together with discharge to track river state. Flood stage and runnable levels are typically expressed in gauge height (e.g., "flood at 16 ft").
