Borrego Mesa camping area in New Mexico is a beautiful spot to enjoy the outdoors. Located near the Rio Grande, the surrounding views are breathtaking. There are plenty of nearby activities, including hiking and exploring the nearby Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument. The campground amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets, and it is a first-come, first-serve campground with 6 campsites available. The best time of year to visit is in the spring or fall, with average temperatures ranging from the low 60s to the high 80s.
